Essential Airport Hacks You Need to Know
Raise your hand if your favourite thing about going away is the time you spend at the airport. Nope? Nobody? We didn’t think so either. Cut through the busy airport foot-traffic
To cut down the time you spend at security, purchasing Flexi Plus is a great solution. With this you can use a quieter lane. In most cases you will be brought to whichever lane is most quiet. Most people in the fast track lanes are frequent flyers so you won't have any noobs getting stuck on how to walk through a scanner. This is great if you're in a rush to get to the lounge.
Do Your Research
A little bit of planning can go a long way
Don't leave flight times to chance. Browse through our sections, talk to our staff and watch videos on Twitter to ensure you have the best knowhow to ensure your trip is as smooth as can be. Do you know what time to arrive to avoid long queues? How to access a lounge? Or the best place to sit in the aircraft?
Don't wait until the last minute to figure this all out; do some research (most of which can be found on this website) in advance.
Fly at Off Peak Times
Avoid the ragequit-worthy queues by travelling during quiet flights
A good tip if you’re travelling solo is to choose the most unpopular time to fly on that particular route (research this before you go, but in our experience, it’s usually early flights from Mon-Thu) and check how full the server is before going on if you're short on time and can only fly for a short period of time. This way you have a chance to access a seat on an empty row meaning you can sprawl out as much as you like and even lie flat across the three empty seats for the entire flight if you wish!
